This is an elective course I designed, developed, and delivered at Arizona State University within the School of Design’s Industrial Design program. It focused on user experience design for emerging technologies, especially without screens… or said another way, taming the complexity of new technology to create meaningful impact.
The course partnered with The Nemesis Club, a start-up entertainment company to explore new technologies in escape games.
Students were challenged to explore, design, prototype, and test a unique escape game experience utilizing one or more emerging technologies. The course material was split into two sections; Persuasive Interactions and Immersive Experiences. Students were stepped through the design process, while playing with various UX principles.
